The Community Foundation for Northern Virginia opens discretionary grant cycles
Established in early 2014 with the goal of empowering girls and women of all ages and preparing them for business success by supporting organizations that create connections, opportunities, and confidence.

This year, the BWGC will support nonprofit organizations and schools that provide STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), Leadership, and/or Entrepreneurship programs to girls and young women (K-12 and college-age.) Grants are being accepted up until September 26. Learn more >>

Supports Youth and Elderly Welfare in Loudoun County
A giving circle of donors who learn about and support critical needs in Loudoun County, the Loudoun Impact Fund is a partnership of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia and the Community Foundation for Loudoun and Northern Fauquier Counties.  

The Loudoun Impact Fund is now accepting grant applications for organizations supporting youth and elderly welfare in Loudoun County.   Grants are expected to range from $5,000 to $30,000 per agency.  An estimated $125,000 will be available for distribution. Applications must be submitted electronically on or before September 13, 2017, midnight. Learn more >> 

The Future Fund is a young professionals giving circle of the Community Foundation for Northern Virginia, and members select a different focus area for annual grantmaking. 
The members of the Future Fund have selected the Environment for the 2017-2018 funding category, and grant applications will be accepted starting at the end of August. Learn more >>
