Nash Hardy Adds Forestry Services for Broader Coverage

Casey & Company Forestry, PLLC; located in Wilkesboro, NC, is expanding their forestry operations to include a second forestry office located in Fuquay-Varina, NC. "The expansion will increase our market area to include the lower Piedmont and upper Coastal Plains," explained Andrew Casey, owner of Casey & Company Forestry, PLLC.
"Nash Hardy will be running the office," said Andrew Casey. "Nash and I met in Forestry School at N. C. State University and we have remained friends ever since."

Hardy attended NC State University where he studied Forestry and Horticulture. Hardy is the longtime owner-operator of Hardy Landscapes, Inc., a specialty grading and construction company.
"Through the years he has kept his hand in the forestry world, particularly in prescribed burning and pine plantation management," Casey said. "Beyond his forestry experience, Nash brings his construction expertise to our company as well. He has experience building wild fowl impoundments, ponds, woods roads, and other forest land improvements. This is another level of service we will be able to provide for our clients
Hardy lives in Fuquay-Varina. He enjoys spending time with his daughter, Holland, who competes in horseback and soccer events, and bird hunting whenever he gets an opportunity.

Ken Canter comes to Casey & Company Realty, LLC with a wealth of real estate knowledge. Canter, a 36-year veteran of the real estate business, began his real estate career as a broker in 1977 and then started Canter Construction in 1978. Canter is a graduate of the NC State University School of Engineering and is a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina. He continues to act in a consulting role for Canter Construction.
Canter is a member of the Wilkes County Home Builders Association, active on several boards and committees for the Town of Wilkesboro and has served on the Vestry of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Wilkesboro where he is a member. He is also involved in managing his own cattle farm.

Tathel Miller worked in the banking industry for over 15 years as a real estate lender specializing in commercial, agriculture and residential lending. Ms. Miller is a graduate of Salem College with a degree in Communications and a concentration in Journalism and she is also a graduate of the North Carolina School of Banking.
Ms. Miller is a member of Hilltop Baptist Church where she serves as the Youth and Bible School Director, serves on the Board of Directors for the Wilkes County Partnership for Children and has worked with Blue Ridge Women in Agriculture. She is the founder of Dreams and Kitestrings, a non-profit organization in Wilkes that gives financial assistance to children for educational needs and to teachers for classroom grants and other educational activities.
