Scientists Have Identified a Completely New Human Species from China: Is this further evidence that our theory that humans evolved in more than one part of the earth (God separated them to many races) is correct? Also, those races were gathered around the Middle East so they would be mixed again in Iran! Life is everywhere. The very idea that life (humans) started in only one place is against the reality in the universe. Life evolves anywhere conditions are conducive for life to be manifested!
Earthquake, Tsunami Hit Japan: Almost a year to date since the last huge earthquake and tsunami, Japan again had a smaller one (6.9 quake, really not that small, but compared with last year's 9.1 quake...). Is God trying to tell us/Japan something? (They had another one yesterday!)

More and more people are being awakened to what is happening and are joining the opposite camp. Farmers Face Tough Choice On Ways To Fight New Strains Of Weeds (audio): Monsanto made the Roundup weed killer and now stronger weeds no longer are killed by their product (or similar products). When humans interfere with nature, they will eventually pay dearly for their arrogance that they know better than God what is a better way to tame and work with His creation. At least they have to test and make sure they know (with much prayer) what they are doing before implementing a new way onto nature!
Exercise can Change DNA (video): Accompanied with Innercise (Yoga, Pilates, Tandava/Tandavi, etc.) the benefits will be even greater! The two (exercise and innercise) together, plus meditation, etc. will not only change your DNA, it will also change your Spirit (Consciousness)!
Why? Few Clues From Afghan Attack Suspect's Home: If the accusations against this person are true, it is truly sad how war can transform a regular human into a monster. The atrocities committed in wars (from both, or all, sides) are mind-boggling. The human indeed can be more animalistic than any other creature (the soldier's wife does not believe he could have done it).

Are Your Morning Vitamins Slowly Killing You?: If you follow our recommended diet (FOLKS: Fresh, Organic, Local, Kosher, Seasonal) and other recommendations from the Mission (God's Way) you do not need to take vitamins. Do not follow diets which are man-made, such as Atkins, vegan, etc. They usually are just fads. God Knows best what diet and lifestyle we should follow and He has already Revealed to humanity what they are through His Scriptures and our teachings. In fact our teaching is the way God wants humans to live!

(video): Everyone should stop listening to and following news, articles, etc. that bring them down into their lower natures (as the speaker says: News about Kim Kardashian, John Hamm, Justin Bieber, etc.). Also avoid anything else that takes your attention away from Higher things and God.
Grounded! 'Bird man' admits flying video is a fake (video): The person who made a video of himself flying with artificial wings "faked" it. Why would anyone want to do such a thing? It is amazing how the drive to be famous and receive attention from others makes some people go crazy and do anything to accomplish this desire. Everyone wants to be god, instead of following God!

New Mesmerizing Video Shows the Whole Evolution of the Moon (video): This is based on new discoveries scientists have made using the satellites they now have around the moon. Will this view change as they learn more about the moon? That is how science works: They have to change their minds often before they come close to the reality of this universe!

1. Use langota (also read about it in Golden Keys VII): The langota (longota, lungoti, etc.) is an ancient type of underwear for men that has been used in the Far East for thousands of years. The Japanese version is called the fundoshi. The function of the langota is to bring control to the sexual desire of a man. When it is worn regularly, the wearer can channel extra and unwanted sexual desires to higher chakras. When an excess desire arises, just tighten the langota a little more, and it will go away. It does not, however, affect sexual performance. Indeed it improves it, as stored sexual energy is available at the time of intimacy!
Sannyasins (renunciates) can overcome their sexual desires by wearing the langota all the time in order to never be bothered by these unwanted distractions to their work (being a Pure Channel for God's Work). This will also bring great ecstasy and strength to the wearer.
2. The Tandava dance is another way to control sexual desires. A combination of wearing the langota and performing Tandava (Tandavii for women) will bring greater control over sexual desires.

Did You Know...
Snippets by Maitreya are sent out twice a month, on the 14th and 28th, at 12 PM MST (Mountain Standard Time).
The cut-off time for including items in each Snippets is 5 PM MST two days before the Snippets goes out (i.e. the 12th and 26th).
Snippets are organized roughly chronologically from oldest to latest, not by topic. However, if there are many articles about one topic, it might be given its own section.
If you find anything unusual, interesting, funny, etc. that you think would make a good Snippet, please send it to snippets@maitreya.org for consideration!
