Com'in Down The Track

Events we anticipate sometimes actually do come to pass. Perhaps the wait seems long (Will Summer ever arrive?). Then, suddenly it comes, and before we catch our breath - the long awaited moves us on (Where did Summer go? Just seemed to race by!).

Things have seemed a bit like that for the Halls lately. We knew the Pastor Nominating Committee was hard at work, no question, and the months rolled on one after the other. Then suddenly, Boom! - The PNC had come to a decision! A candidate, Hanna Peterson-Shearer, was chosen to be your next Senior Pastor! We appreciate that this came following a tremendous amount of prayer and good old hard work. After months of wondering, however, it seemed to happen in a flash, and we knew our time in Kennewick was quickly coming to an end.

Several years ago I had absolutely 'retired' for sure, for good - no question. For all that, when the phone rang in July 2015, I was caught up in a sense that I needed to listen to these Kennewick Presbyterians. After a few trips from Hauser Lake ID to Kennewick WA, a conviction formed that God would be pleased to see us work together for the future mission of KFPC. Serving with you has given us a deep appreciation for the people, officers and staff of this good church
On behalf of Ann and myself, I want to thank you for the privilege of working with you. Frustrations may be many, for example, there never seems enough time to do everything that needs done! And there simply isn't enough time to get to know everyone as well as you would like. And it is also hard to say good-bye when the time comes. As we will not be thousands of miles away, we may well appear from time to time. We will always value the friendships we have made in Kennewick!

Blessings, Pastor Craig
FAREWELL & THANK YOU TO PASTOR CRAIG AND ANN!!!
