NEW LIGHT MCC's Rev. Kelly Crenshaw and Harry Brubaker III accepted the ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE on Sunday, August 24 and soaked each other in the parking lot. By doing it Rev. Kelly Crenshaw and Harry Brubaker III has challenged the congregation to fill a washtub with their donations for ALS. The tub is stationed on the side table in the front of the church. Then, in January, we will choose two people to start a fund drive for a different charity of their choice.

FoodThe Second Sunday of each month is our designated Food Pantry Donation Sunday. Bring your non-perishable donations to the church before or after service. Monetary donations are accepted also.

Until next month...

Thank you New Light MCCers for the gifts and talents you bring to our church body so that we might take the message of God's love into our community, our country, and our world!

Religion is a compass, not a harness, let your heart explore.  You have the freedom to break the chains of religion that might have held you captive so you can find the YOU that God intended you to be!
