Tonight as I scribe, the not-so-distant wail of a call to prayer rings out over the skyline of Kusadasi, Turkey. I'm dead center in the crossroads of the world, the domain of Sultans and Ottomans, Turks and Kurds, just today finishing another foray for Rick Steves on the Continent; tomorrow morning I'll board a flight to Venezia and begin the 2nd in 4 tours for this year's new collection.
