  • Our monthly networking event has a new, permanent name! Previously known as Business After Hours, with a brief stint as Business & Bevvies, we introduce to you Commerce ConneX
  • We have  launched two brand-new series, Conversations that Connect and BIG Opportunities for Small Business!  Refer to the sidebar to learn more about:
    • Our mentorship roundtable series geared towards connecting business leaders with those wanting to learn from them
    • A brand new 6-part workshop series, Big Opportunities for Small Business
      • Funding for this program is available through the BC Job Grant, so be sure to check it out!
** Following our dynamic MLA/MP Luncheon presentation yesterday, we made a donation to the Central Okanagan Food Bank in their honour.  We all appreciated hearing their positive updates. **

Global Entrepreneurship Week
Work smarter, not longer

Each November, thousands of events  and competitions  in 160
countries celebrate Global Entreprenurship Week, which inspires millions   to engage in entrepreneurial activity while connecting them to potential collaborators, mentors and even investors. 

This year's GEW is held November 14-20, 2016. The Kelowna Chamber will be participating by launching a special event series aimed at connecting mentors and mentees, called Conversations that Connect.  

Powered by the Kauffman Foundation, the initiative is supported by dozens of world leaders and a network of more than 15,000 partner organizations.     Learn More


Critically acclaimed Comic coming to Kelowna
Keith Barany for as low as $20 - NO JOKE

The Kelowna Yacht Club is excited to bring in top level comedian Keith Barany to KYC.    
Keith has been called "One of the wittiest comics working today" by the New York Post.  He has worked with Jerry Seinfeld and comes highly recommended.  

Keith will be doing one show only on Monday, November 21 in the Member Lounge at the Yacht Club. Tickets are $20 for members, and $35 for non-members - buffet dinner additional, very reasonably priced.
