In fact, Brees and his wife, Brittany, are launching an apparel business and are working with The Idea Village to identify a qualified entrepreneur/CEO to run the company...in New Orleans!
Why start a business in New Orleans? In a recent interview with The Huffington Post, Brees remarks, “New Orleans is the land opportunity for a lot of young entrepreneurs and we wanted to foster that vibe by establishing our own business and bringing the best and brightest young minds to the city.”

Entrepreneur-in-Residence: Responsible for leading strategic consulting for entrepreneurs serviced by Idea Village. This includes advising the entrepreneurs selected for the IDEAxcelerator program, leading strategic planning and group learning sessions, preparing entrepreneurs for investment pitches and raising capital, providing internal support for execution planning, and representing Idea Village in public forums as needed.
