Greetings!

An exciting new book from the man behind 'The Speed Merchants' has just been released. 'Racing Demons: Porsche and the Targa Florio' by Michael Keyser, Mark Koense and Enzo Manzo brings together for the first time the many Porsches that raced in that legendary Sicilian road race, from the lone privately entered 356 Cabriolet that started the race in 1953, to the works Martini 911 RSR, which won the last ever Targa twenty years later, giving Porsche its eleventh victory.

At the wheel of the many legendary Porsches that were raced in the Targa Florio during the span of two decades were some of the top drivers of the '50s, '60s and '70s, such as Umberto Maglioli, Edgar Barth, Stirling Moss, Graham Hill, Jo Bonnier, Gerhard Mitter, Rolf Stommelen, Vic Elford, Brian Redman, Jo Siffert, Herbert Mller, and Gijs van Lennep.

This unique book contains more than 500 black and white and color photographs, many never published before, including a number of images unearthed from the Porsche factory's archive in Stuttgart, and a broad selection taken by photographers living in Sicily during the years the race was held. Each tells its own fascinating story.

Limited to just 1,500 copies world wide, 'Racing Demons' is the definitive story of one of the world's greatest marques taking on one of the most challenging circuits of the twentieth century and crossing its finish line first more than any other manufacturer. $150.00 Reserve your copy HERE.

For those of you who are not familiar with Michael Keyser's film 'The Speed Merchants', it remains one of the finest documentaries about our sport ever produced. The film follows - and is narrated by - drivers Mario Andretti, Vic Elford, Brian Redman, Jacky Ickx and Helmut Marko as they compete in the 1972 World Manufacturer's Championship for Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Matra, Lola and Mirage. Great footage from Daytona, Sebring, the Targa Florio, LeMans and the Nurburgring. A definite 'must have'. A fresh shipment of 'The Speed Merchants' will be here along with 'Racing Demons' in a few days. $29.95 Order 'The Speed Merchants' HERE.

SPARK MODEL UPDATE:
We have a small shipment coming in from Spark next week, the highlight of which is a 1/43 scale McLaren MP4/27 driven to victory by Lewis Hamilton in the first US Grand Prix at the new Circuit of the Americas last November. What makes this model unique is the 'Verizon' logos displayed on the McLarne's sidepods instead of 'Vodafone'. A significant model as it was the first F1 winner at the new Austin track and the final McLaren victory for Lewis Hamilton before he switched to the Mercedes team this year. $74.00 Limited quantities. Reserve one HERE.

Minichamps has announced a similar model, also in resin, for release in early 2014. We can take orders on that one as well. $94.99. Reserve HERE.

Later this month, we expect the delivery of Spark s1108, a 1/43 scale resin replica of the Shadow Mk II #101 driven by Jackie Oliver in the 1971 Can Am series. $74.00 Reserve HERE
