Since its first release in 1982, Touch has created sonic and visual productions that combine innovation with a level of care and attention that has made it the most enduring of any independent company of its time.
Touch composers and recorded works have been widely used in film and TV; Terrence Malik ("Tree of Life"), Lars von Trier, Dreamworks Animation, Lynn Ramsay ("We need to talk about Kevin"), VICE, and many more.
In 2016 Hildur Gudnadottir composed for the Oscar-winningThe Revenant.
Claire M Singer
Claire M Singer is a Scottish composer and musician who lives and works in London. She has played live all over the world, including recently at The Barbican, London, supporting Stars of the Lid. Other works have been presented and performed at Tate Modern, Union Chapel, London, Ceremony Hall, Austin, USA and Muziekgebouw, Amsterdam.
Using cello, organ and electronics, her debut album ‘Solas' is inspired by the scenery and geography of the west of Scotland. Claire also composes small ensemble to larger scale orchestral works.
Claire is currently working on the soundtrack for LA-based documentary film maker, Paul McDade.
