"Pondering-in" the New Year

It strikes me that Mary was a deliberately and intensely thoughtful woman. She could have been easily overwhelmed by her circumstances, but because she knew that the Lord was not only the orchestrator of the event but also resting in her arms, she could be fully present to drink in the wonder of the moment. Beverly & John Lord Knight Performance Hall

Northwestern recently unveiled the newly renovated lobby and performance hall in the Totino Fine Arts Center. The space, previously known as Maranatha Hall, has been renamed to the Beverly & John Lord Knight Performance Hall, due to the Lord Knight's generous donations to the renovations. The renovations have created a larger lobby space with updated finishes throughout. The new lobby contains two fireplaces and six 13-foot-high doors that provide a great view of the campus green. All of the lighting has been updated with color shifting LED's to enhance the experience in the space along with 10 large chandeliers.

The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) opens Jan. 12! Thirty-seven of Shakespeare's plays performed by three actors in under two hours is the perfect way to start the spring semester. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) is one of the funniest nights of theatre you will ever experience!

Come cheer on the Eagles at Hoops Hysteria on Saturday, January 14 and have a chance to win up to $10,000 in scholarships during half-time!

Payment for the Spring Semester needs to be paid in full by January 31 if not on a payment plan. Current payment plan participants are automatically enrolled for the Spring payment plan. Open enrollment for all others will begin January 4. 1098T documents will be mailed by January 31.

11th Annual Five16 Film Festival!

April 10 | 7 p.m.

The Five16 Film Festival is an annual festival featuring short films by Northwestern students. The festival is named in homage to Matthew 5:16. Films featured in the festival are evaluated on their portrayal of Christian values in addition to their storytelling and production quality.
