Schlage Home Door/Window Sensors allow homeowners to expand the functionality of their Nexia™ Home Intelligence system and remotely monitor activities within their home while they're away. For example, they can set Nexia to notify them if windows have been opened in the winter and double check that the doors are closed before going to bed at night- all from their computer, tablet or smart phone.

By adding window and door sensors to their Nexia system, the homeowner is also able to:

• Check in to see if the doors and windows are closed at night and when away from home
• Set Nexia to notify them when doors or windows have been opened in the home
• Set Nexia to change the temperature inside the home when windows have been opened or closed

To better meet the needs of consumers, Schlage will offer the F54 function in addition to the F51 function. The F54 function allows the inside lever to lock/unlock by turn button, and remains fixed in the lock position.  (The F51 function offers an emergency egress feature which means it is always unlocked from the inside.)
 
The addition of the F54 function does not change the key features and benefits of Schlage levers:

A new dark cylinder plug finish will be used on all Oil-Rubbed Bronze (613), Matte Black (622), and Aged Bronze (716) keyed products. 

As of June 16, all Schlage box pack keyed products offered in Oil-Rubbed Bronze (613), Matte Black (622), and Aged Bronze (716) finishes will ship with a dark cylinder plug face instead of a brass cylinder. This new dark cylinder improves the appearance of Schlage's dark finish options.
