Koya is pleased to announce a new search for a Chief Finance and Administrative Officer at Kapor Capital and the Kapor Center for Social Impact!


Kapor Capital and Kapor Center for Social Impact (KC2) are two organizations that share leadership and a common mission in venture capital investments for social impact and initiatives to increase the presence of underrepresented people of color in the tech sector. The CFAO will oversee all aspects of KC2's financial strategy, administrative and operational functions. S/he will also serve as an important strategic partner to KC2's Partners, as well as to colleagues on the leadership team to ensure that sound fiscal policies and appropriate organizational infrastructure and systems are in place to support growth and expanded impact.

 

The Chief Finance and Administrative Officer is a key leadership role that presents a unique opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring that an innovative and groundbreaking organization continues to achieve its mission and live it's motto:
Tech for good. Good for tech.

  

Key Responsibilities Include: 

  • In close collaboration with Partners and the senior leadership team, develop and implement effective financial strategies and systems
  • Directly manage and mentor Accounting, Facilities, IT, HR, and Administrative teams, with a total of eight direct reports
  • Serve as internal lead on building project in downtown Oakland, working closely with an external construction manager and leading the process of identifying potential tenants, developing lease agreements, and ensuring that the building fulfills its vision as a center for fostering a vibrant tech ecosystem and positive social impacts.
