October 17, 2013
Greetings!

First off, some good news regarding Rainer Schlegelmilch's 'Sportscar Racing 1962-1973' book. We've been able to secure enough copies to fill all our original orders plus the orders received since our October 2 Email Update. We'll be making arrangements to bring these books over from Europe in the next week or two. Orders received from today forward will be on a 'standby' basis until we can get our hands on additional copies.

We'll be filling orders for last week's featured title 'Racing Demons: Porsche and the Targa Florio' and 'The Speed Merchants' DVD within the week. We still have a few copies of each available from our incoming shipment.

Speaking of 'incoming shipments', a small shipment of Spark and TSM Models arrived earlier this week. You can check out the list HERE

An additional 15 or so new models from Spark and Bizarre are due to arrive next week. You can find that list HERE

Next week's highlights include the 1/43 scale Spark Jackie Oliver UOP Shadow Mk II we told you about last week ($74.00) and the long-awaited 1/43 scale Mickey Thompson Challenger 1 in 1960 configuration from Bizarre.

Thompson became the first American to break the 400 mph barrier with a one-way run of 406.6 mph on the Bonneville Salt Flats on September 9, 1960 powered by the 4 supercharged Pontiac engines in the Challenger 1.

We still have a few pieces available for $94.00 plus shipping. Reserve HERE.
Here's a short film on Mickey Thompson's 406.6 mph run from YouTube:

Our friend Colin Carter has just released a new limited edition (500) giclee on paper entitled 'First Victory', seen below. It commemorates Ayrton Senna's first Formula 1 victory in the 1985 Grand Prix of Portugal at Estoril.

'First Victory' measures 36" x 28". Each copy is signed and numbered by the Artist. $175.00 plus shipping. Reserve your copy HERE.
Also found in Colin Carter's extensive portfolio are two Limited Edition prints featuring the subjects of the film everyone is talking about. 'Remembering James' (left) features James Hunt in his 1976 World Championship winning McLaren M23. 'Niki' (right) features 3 time World Champion Niki Lauda in his 1976 Ferrari 312 T2. Both are 36" x 24"  lithos on paper, signed and numbered by the Artist and priced at $175.00 each. Click on the titles to order.

Earlier this year, we took advance orders for BBR's 1/18 scale Ferrari 340/375 MM (serial number 0286AM) driven by Phil Hill and Richie Ginther in the 1954 Carrera Panamerica. The 'sold out' first batch of this Limited Edition (400) resin model has just arrived in the US. We expect to ship Advance Orders early next week. Our Distributor informs us that there are a few models available from the final production run still priced at $325.00. Last call, everyone! Reserve HERE.

For those of you interested in Limited Edition Ferrari - I mean Tipo - models, we are offering this 1/18 scale Exoto Tipo 246 Grand Prix car in Phil Hill 1958 Morocco 'Test' colors for a Private Collector. The model is new, in the box. This version was produced in a Limited Edition of just 58 pieces and is classified by Exoto as 'retired' with an estimated value of $1,800. Currently, we have this item listed for $1,200 on our Online Shopping Website but we will entertain reasonable offers. If interested, call me at 800.722.8630 or drop an email to [email protected].
