David Hickey is drawn to search out natural elements. These in turn often dictate the direction of his creativity. His finished works of art, whether they be decorative, functional or both are each one of a kind. Being open to the moment is not passive interaction nor is it self-directed. Rather, it is a perception of the world through child-like eyes. It is this type of perception without formalized rules that has maintained and fostered his own creativity.

Bella Grey Studio

Bella Grey jewellery grew from the courage, faith, and creative focus that were essential in facing and overcoming uncertain and challenging personal circumstances. I have been creating in one way or another for most of my life but it wasn't until fairly recently that I gave myself permission to more fully follow my artistic ideas. That became a path for purposefully moving toward positivity, and Bella Grey was the result.

Each piece presents a new opportunity to play. Each wonderful and whimsical accessory represents the strength and fulfillment that can come from accepting life's difficulties and redirecting perspective toward growth, possibilities, and happiness.
