In July of 2017, Liz Gamache, Chelsea Bardot Lewis, and Kevin Wiberg joined the Vermont Community Foundation's grants and community investments department, which is responsible for overseeing the programs that distribute grants and mission-related investments throughout the state. Summer Bridge: Smoothing the Transition to College
The transition to college is often overwhelming. That is especially true for low-income and first-generation students whose access to the opportunities that help young people thrive may have been limited. Summer Bridge is a program at Northern Vermont University that is trying to change that.
