NEFA Unveils a New Three-Year Strategic Plan
In February 2017, the New England Foundation for the Arts began work on a new strategic plan . In light of the rapidly changing political and social environment for arts and culture organizations, and with new staff and board leadership in place, NEFA’s goal was to craft a three-year plan that is both comprehensive and adaptable to changing conditions.

Creative City Grantees Engage Boston Communities

In November 2017,  Creative City   grantee Mehmet Ali Sanlıkol premiered his new composition entitled  DEVRAN: Music of Islam, Turkey & Renaissance Europe  for two free public performances in Boston, at NEC’s Jordan Hall and at First Church in Roxbury. Read more >>

At the end of 2017, after many months of community listening and project planning lead artist  Jillian Wiedenmayer  installed her Creative City project,  The Chroma Line , a curated art walk across Allston’s Franklin Footbridge, located between Lincoln and Cambridge Streets in Allston, a neigborhood of Boston, MA.
