This Noble Experiment 2010 Ikeda Forum for Intercultural Dialogue Explores the Democratic Spirit
On November 6, 2010, new and old friends gathered at the Ikeda Center for a wide-ranging conversation on the democratic spirit. The morning session featured LR Berger (above, left), Virginia Benson, and Sarah Wider discussing democracy's poetic and spiritual aspects. The afternoon session featured Fernando Reimers and Anita Patterson considering the role of education in building democracy and global citizenship. The event culminated with a presentation by Vincent Harding (above, right) called "We the People: Moving Toward Democracy."
