ERS TOOLS ENEWS
A Time for Dreaming: July brings some much-needed downtime for school administrators. It's a moment to step back and dream: How would I craft my budget, if I had all the control? How would I build my school, from the bottom up? What can I do differently next year to make my vision a reality?

One thing you can do is create a budget scenario with our DREAM tool. And now DREAM is better than ever, as we just updated it with the most recent financial data from the NCES. In this newsletter, we invite you to check out this new, even more current version of DREAM; we seek out creative school leaders to try a new tool; and we share an innovative idea for using Hold'em.

Please feel free to contact me directly with specific ERS tool questions or ideas for how we can make our tools more helpful. Happy summer dreaming!

Play with the implications for increasing planning time or changing teacher salaries. See what happens when you rethink your high school schedule. All of our financial data reflects the latest NCES numbers and can be customized to match your district's particular situation.

SCHOOL DESIGN - Seeking Innovative School Leaders!

ERS is developing a new tool which will help you design an elementary school from the ground up, including academic needs, time, individual attention, and scheduling. You can use it to strategically redesign an existing school, or create the one you want to have. We seek creative, courageous school leaders to test out this tool before it's available to the public.

To learn more or to sign up,

Hold'em has been used by school boards, administrators, and future leaders. But have you ever thought about how it could open up conversation during teacher contract negotiations? Learn more
