Engaging students in their learning is more difficult than ever. With a flood of information available for children 24 hours a day, how do we make learning at school a compelling piece of their day? Students have opportunities to learn throughout television, technology, and their community in greater ways than any prior generation. For schools, this means that business as usual and change at its current pace won't allow for excellence. In our community's next webinar, Dr. Robert Dillon will outline a number of ways for schools to build deep learning and high engagement into every lesson, every unit, every day. We will look closely at how providing choice, voice, and authentic audience, combined with high quality instructional strategies, quality technology integration, education for sustainability, and purposeful empathy-building can bring schools results. Robert will share resources, ideas, and connections that can change learning in your school tomorrow and a year from tomorrow. Join him on October 21st for strategies and inspiration to engage, empower, and energize your school!
