Camp programs are so important that the council is making a sacrifice for each and every Scout to make sure they get the opportunity to fund their way to this summer's camp programs!

LaSalle Council will receive just 26% comission, while units receive 40% commission on products sold through the Spring Product Sale featuring quality Cellmax batteries.

New Automobile Liability and Council Requirements for Drivers Takes Effect March 1
LaSalle Council has secured a new auto insurance policy for liability associated with claims that may occur during scouting activities.

Here are a few highlights:
  • Automobiles must be private passenger type that seat no more than eight persons
  • Vehicles that seat 9 to 15 persons must be pre-approved by the Council's insurance 
  • Contracted Transportation Services such as school bus charters will require council pre-approval
  • Each employee or volunteer is responsible for maintaining adequate auto insurance 
  • Drivers over the age of 81 or under 18 may drive, but may not transport campers
