Inspiring Jewish youth to give of themselves.. .

September 2015
Dear Friends,

Roll out your backpacks, pencils and calculators - the school year has begun! As kids are walking into their classrooms and meeting their teachers and classmates, here at Areyvut we're thinking about how we can make the school year more meaningful for mentors and students alike.

Opportunities are endless. With a little bit of creativity and a lot of passion, Areyvut has a wide variety of chesed (kindness), tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (social action) programming to start the year off right.

With the school year starting and Rosh Hashana right around the corner, we'd love for you to join us in creating new beginnings. Together we can create new opportunities, foster new relationships and make a true difference in the world.

A Kindness a Day Calendar...
Back in Action!

The A Kindness a Day Calendar is a tool that gives practical suggestions on how to incorporate the values of chesed, tzedakah and tikkun olam into our daily lives. Each day of the calendar contains a kindness that corresponds to a traditional Jewish text, making it a useful educational tool that can be appreciated by all ages.

The calendar gets shared with our audience digitally: through e-mail, Facebook, Twitter and beyond. Currently, over 2,000 people are engaging with the digital version of our calendar. Those who read our A Kindness a Day tips love them... imagine how much more of an impact we could make with a hard copy!

This calendar year, January - December 2016, you will have the opportunity to have a printed version of the calendar right at your desk!

We need your help to make this a reality!

Please visit our crowdfunding site that supports the printed version of the A Kindness a Day Calendar. Your donation ensures that we continue to spread kindness, charity and social action throughout the world.
