Statement from USHJA President
Mary Babick
The United States Hunter Jumper Association applauds the United States Equestrian Federation's enhanced penalties for individuals violating sport rules related to the misuse of drugs and medication within hunter/jumper competition and the work of the USEF Hearing Committee for their efforts. The integrity of our sport depends on the standard to which we hold ourselves, and we support these stricter penalties. The USHJA is establishing a Sport Integrity Task Force that will work closely with the USEF to address issues like doping in order to strengthen the hunter/jumper sport. We want our members to know that a level playing field in our sport is one free of drugs and medication abuses, one where horsemanship is valued and one where those playing by the rules are able to succeed.

Name Change

To align with these section name changes, the USHJA Pre-Green Incentive Program is now the USHJA Green Hunter Incentive Program. In 2017, the program will continue to include only those horses competing at 3'0" and 3'3" fence heights.
