Bamboo Cafe French Home Cooking Certified as
Naples' First Green Business
"Bamboo Cafe in Naples has another specialty on the menu besides French home cooking. The restaurant in Crayton Cove has qualified to become Naples' first certified green business.
Taking the steps to earn certification sped up a process owner-chef Lisa Boet already had started; for many years, she has stocked her menu with locally grown produce and sustainably caught seafood, she said.
"It just sort of naturally evolved," Boet said. "Naples has set a goal of certifying 25 green businesses as the city enters the homestretch of a year-long community outreach program to teach residents and business owners how to save energy, water and money."

"Treacherous Voyage"
By Crayton Cove Author
Marlena Brackebusch
Now Available at Amazon.com
In Paperback or Kindle Edition
Capt. Marlena Brackebusch's heart-stopping new novel is the sequel to her successful Nightmare Voyage. Brackebusch whisks readers off to the tropical Caribbean, cruising from island to island, bringing back many of the same lovable, wacky characters we met before, and quite a few Crayton Cove denizens, too!
The lively cast of characters encounters voodoo angels in the Dominican Republic, traipses through the steamy jungles of St. Vincent and scours the trendy streets of Key West in a wild search for a missing sailor. A midnight rescue attempt on a dark and stormy night keeps Treacherous Voyage's adrenaline-pumping story flying toward a climactic ending, only to have Capt. Marlena Brackebusch end it with another cruel twist of fate.
