Get Your New Year Started on the Right Foot

Have you made any New Year's resolutions? Are you planning to be more active, get outdoors, or start a new hobby? We have just what you need to get started!

Maybe you want to try out Geocaching, where you search for and find hidden objects using GPS coordinates. At the Main Branch, you can borrow a Garmin GPS Receiver complete with instructions and an Ajax Trail Map. Also, check out Cool Maps & Geocaching by Katherine Hengel to get you started on this fun outdoor activity.

Have you made a goal to walk 10,000 steps every day? There are lots of ways to accomplish this goal. Take a walk with your spouse, child or friend, use the stairs instead of the elevator, or simply park further from work or the store. We can help you track your steps with a Pedometer. You can borrow one at any of our branches, and they include instructions and an Ajax Trail Guide. Also, check out Walking for Fitness by Nina Barough for great advice, tips and walking programs to get you to your goal.

We also have lots of great resources on display at our branches. Find books, movies, magazines and more to help you achieve your resolutions.
3D Printer Certifcation
