CALLING ALL NEW YORK MEMBERS: URGENT ACTION NEEDED TO PROTECT SHARKS
This coming Tuesday June 5th at 9.am, the New York Senate Environmental Conservation Committee has scheduled a vote on the bill to end the sharkfin trade in New York State -- S.6431
The vote is for the bill as submitted and written, NOT the proposed amendments by the Assembly EnCon Committee and DEC. Passage is crucial as the legislation will die.
While half of the Senate EnCon members are sponsors, not all of them may be there to vote, so it is important to contact all the committee members listed below.
