Welcome to Langtons International Agency  Newsletter!
Langtons International Agency is one of New York's most successful boutique literary agency specializing in non-fiction: including memoir, true crime, biography, dogs , and business , exceptionally well written literary and commercial fiction: including mystery, thrillers, and young adult. We have recently added film scripts to our offerings as well. 

To date, Langtons International Agency has sold one book per month in 2016.

Notable releases include Trumbo by Bruce Cook (Grand Central Publishing, September 8, 2015) to coincide with the movie release, starring Bryan Cranston, Diane Lane, and Helen Mirren.

Art in the Blood by Bonnie MacBird, (HarperCollins UK, September 2015) first of a planned trilogy of Sherlock Holmes adventures, sold to 17 countries, bestseller in 5 countries.

Dancing on Her Grave by Diane Montane and Carolina Sarassa, true crime (Berkley, April 2015) Discovery Channel, Deadly Sins and Lifetime Movies.

Art in the Blood Now in Portuguese

The first novel in Bonnie MacBird's fantastic Sherlock Holmes trilogy (HarperCollins, September 2015) is now available in Portuguese in addition to its many other translations. New York Times Spotlight for Avi Shilon

Our talented client,  Avi Shilon,  was mentioned last week in t he New York Times, when t he newly released documentary  Ben-Gurion, Epilogue  was reviewed. The documentary is based on Avi's book  Ben-Gurion: His Later Years in the Political Wilderness ( Rowman & Littlefield, May 2016 ). The book is  based on new interviews with friends and family of the former Prime Minister and details his life after he stepped away from political office and out of the public eye.

Finding Home Heads to Film Festivals

Finding Home is the first film by our fantastically talented new client, screenwriter and author Nick Westfall. The movie, a beautiful story about adoption and finding family, is currently in consideration by top tier film festivals. We are thrilled to welcome the multi-talented Wayne Avrashow to the Agency. Wayne is a lawyer whose years of political experience have inspired his latest book, Roll the Dice. Ann Ukrainetz, author of Lady in Waiting

We are delighted to welcome Ann Ukrainetz to the Agency ! Her book, Lady In Waiting: The True Story of Princess Diana's Secret Aunt, documents Ann's research into the life and times of Ann's famous father Lord Fermoy, who was Princess Di's grandfather. Ann's book describes her life after Ann discovered she was related to British royalty , and her attempts to be recognized by her biological family. Welcome, Ann!

We are very excited to welcome  Sara Curran-Ross  to the Agency! Sara is the author of several  bestsellers in the romantic suspense and romantic thriller categories. We are looking forward to bringing Sara's books, including her latest thriller, to the commercial publishers. Welcome, Sara!

Decreased advertising revenue has the newspaper weighing ending the print edition of its Sunday magazine, folding the Metro section, and making its weekly book review section online-only.  More Information
