This summer, we are offering "half portions" to accommodate those who may be on vacation or out of town for part of the session.
This session we will be starting 2 new classes:
Heart Centered Qigong
with Allen Bourque
A strong connection to the earth and the Lower Dantien are essential basic components of all Tai Chi and Qigong. Building on that foundation, this class will emphasize activating and enlivening the Heart Center, or "middle dantien". We will focus on the Heart Center in some familiar Qigongs, as well as introduce other practices specifically designed to work with the heart. The class will include also working with objects and walking procedures.
The 20 Minute Tai Chi Workout
with Don Miller
In this 7-week course, you will learn a complete Tai Chi practice routine (The Tai Chi Workout) that includes Standing Meditation Qigong, Pulsing Qigong, Rooted Free Movement, Tai Chi Walking, and Eight Yang Tai Chi Forms. The routine takes only 20 minutes to complete and can be practiced at home or in nature. Done regularly, it develops rooting, calmness, fluidity, centering, balance, and well-being. First introduced to the public in 1998, the 20 Minute Tai Chi Workout has been learned and practiced by thousands of people in the U.S. and around the world. Suitable for beginners and others with all levels of experience.
