for children and youth who are in the midst of coping with difficulties in their lives, such as an on-going family illness or the death of a loved one.

The most recent edition of the AP Fund Winter Classic Gala raised a gross total of $85, 000. Since 2012, through its various events, the group of friends who established the AP Fund has raised over $500, 000 for Hope & Cope's CancerFightClub. A huge thank you to every one of the generous donors, sponsors and participants.

Members of the organizing committee behind the McGill South Asian Gala presented a $2,000 cheque to Deborah Brigman, member of Hope & Cope's Board. We would like to applaud Nivatha Balendra, a CancerFightClub member, for her initiave to give back. Thank you for supporting CancerFightClub's mission to accompany young adults affected by cancer.

A Paint night activity, initiated by Everard Jean-Baptiste, was held in April. Participants enjoyed painting while raising funds for CancerFightClub. Everyone enjoyed the chance to express their creativity and to give back at the same time. Thank you!
