New Support Group 

This January, Connect to Care will be featuring an 8 week support group geared towards people in transition who are looking to strengthen their confidence, esteem and resiliency in the process. The group will be geared towards empowering participants to make their own changes and conquering their individual challenges while relating and receiving support from people dealing with similar issues. Keys to Effective Networking

There are many different strategies to find a job. We will look at a variety of techniques that can help you become a more effective job seeker. The discussion will focus on the most effective methods of finding the 80-85% of jobs that are never advertised.

We will offer a step-by-step guide to creating a profile, uploading contacts, and beginning to network online. Learn what it means to hunt a job and preparing yourself for a better job search.  In this workshop, we will go over the importance of having an organized job search "campaign".  Armed with a schedule, we will provide you with ways to create a plan of action, find jobs in the hidden market, and how to follow up on potential opportunities.
