Congrats Pop Obscure on Being Named a Downtowner of Distinction!
L.A. Downtown News recognized some of the most important developments of 2016 at their 16th annual Downtowners of Distinction Awards. "The prizes are presented by district, and when choosing winners we sought to identify projects that had the greatest positive effect on their individual community, and also benefited  Downtown as a whole (prizes were not given in every district)."

From L.A. Downtown News , "The 25,000-square-foot shop, which includes a couple art display spaces, is a delightful addition to the neighborhood, and adds an independent spirit to a Downtown that is seeing an influx of chain stores. With more than 10,000 albums, local workers and residents can pick up that rock, punk, jazz or electronica record they've been lusting after." Congrats Pop Obscure! 735 S Los Angeles St.

Opportunities for Fashion District Businesses and Property Owners

Metro Bike Share Program
Last week, Fashion District BID staff met with representatives from the Metro Bike Share marketing team to discuss partnership opportunities in the district. The BID connected Bike Share with The Wall Farmer's Market and will continue to work with Metro to raise program awareness in the district and foster connectivity between Metro Bike Share stations in the Fashion District and the rest of downtown.

If you are a property owner with a space near a Metro Bike station that could be used for a pop-up and are interested in helping us promote Bike Share use in the district, please contact Ariana Gomez at ariana@fashiondistrict.
