Hike NS is turning 10 years old in 2017! To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we will be launching a new look in April including a new logo and website. And we'll be celebrating at the Hiking Summit.
We've also refreshed our strategic plan and look forward to hiking into the future with new soles on our boots and some new gear in our backpacks!
Hiking Summit Registration Open
April 28-30, Tatamagouche
Hike Nova Scotia's sixth annual Hiking Summit is April 28 to 30 in Tatamagouche. A celebration of hiking culture, it includes best practices, stories, networking opportunities and hikes. The Summit is hosted by Hike NS, the Cobequid Eco-Trails Society and the Municipality of Colchester and supported by the NS Department of Communities, Culture and Heritage. Hike Nova Scotia seeks board members across the province who love hiking and can contribute to moving Hike NS forward. The Hike NS board is a working board. Parks for All Consultation
A national committee is inviting you to participate in the Parks for All Engagement Strategy. This is a collective effort to develop a strategic framework to implement bold and coordinated actions to advance and support an unparalleled network of parks and protected areas in Canada.
