Due to the success of last year's events Weather the Fort and Art Crawl, The Downtown Improvement District is bringing back a contest which invites businesses, organizations, and individuals to submit their best ideas for events in February, March, or April 2017 for a chance to receive production support.

Updated plans for the renovation of an historic downtown block show a five-story commercial and residential building on a site currently occupied by an office building.

Halloween Masquerade Ball
Main Street Bistro


The event will feature special Halloween decor throughout Main Street Bistro and the lobby area! Tickets are $15/person or $20/couple. A portion of all proceeds will benefit the Fort Wayne Boys & Girls Foundation. This event is limited to 300 tickets available via Eventbrite.

Last Saturdays is a great way for individual artists and organizations to share their message with a large, built-in audience, and create vibrancy in Downtown Fort Wayne.

New Exhibit: Corrugated

Enjoy this invitational exhibit that calls artists to create one piece of artwork from corrugated material. This exhibit is in collaboration with Kelly Box and the University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts.
 
"Wizard Of Oz" Event

The USF School of Creative Arts is offering a meet-and-greet ahead of the premiere of their production of "The Wizard of Oz." USF will present the musical adventure from November 4 through November 13 at the USF Robert Goldstine Performing Arts Center at USF.

Downtown Gateway Feature


Fort Wayne Fear Factory



The Fort Wayne Fear Factory is the newest haunt attraction to come to Downtown Fort Wayne at the River City Complex, one of the city's oldest industrial centers. The building was originally Wayne Oil Tank & Pump Company opened in 1910 near the historic Tecumseh Street bridge by the Lakeside neighborhood. 

The Fear Factory will be open for Halloween Weekend, Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m., and Sunday, October 30 and Monday, October 31 from 7 p.m. - 10 p.m. They will wrap up the Halloween Haunting Season the next weekend on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 from 7 p.m. - 11 p.m.
