Join board-certified musical therapist Karly Muzalier, MT-BC of Muzique, LLC for an exploration of music therapy's ability to encourage individual growth, social interaction, motor skill improvement, speech and language improvement and so much more! We'll provide a safe space for adults to explore the beauty of sound and music. Please note that this experience may get loud!

Libraries Rock! Elvis: The Concert Years

Paul has been a winner and finalist in many ELVIS competitions throughout the US and into Canada,. He has over 20 years of experience as an Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA). Paul is also an encyclopedia of the life and times of the one the only Elvis Presley. Get your Blue Suede Shoes ready as they'll be some Elvis trivia after the music!

Registration for the Teen Summer Reading Program, "Libraries Rock!" began Monday, June 18th, but will be ongoing through the summer. Visit our on-line summer reading site for more information, or visit us in person!
Summer Coding Club registration has begun!

Have you always wanted to learn how to code? Want to make cool projects you can share with friends? Join our 2018 Summer Coding Club!

Our club will use Google CS First to learn computer science skills and create cool, functional projects that you can show off to your friends and add to on your own!

The program runs for 8 sessions, and students must be able to commit to participating in the first 4 sessions at the minimum. It will be held in the BEC room on the third floor of the Main Library.

Open to grades 6-12. Registration for the 2018 Summer Coding Club will begin Tuesday, June 26, 2018. Please contact the Teen Services Librarian at 732-634-4450 to register.

Young Adult Book Reviews

You asked, we listened. For those in need of more community service hours, you now have another option! Here’s how it works:

  • You read a book at least 100 pages in length.
  • You fill out the form we provide in the library, which includes information about the book, and a 1.5-page review (I.e., Half of the front and the entire back of the page) of the book. 
  • Turn the form in--we give you one hour of community service for every 100 pages read. So if you read a 374-page book, you get three hours.

That’s it. It’s easy!

Joyce Madee, Coordinator for the YMCA of Metuchen, Edison, Woodbridge and South Amboy Diabetes Prevention Program for people who are at risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes, will host an information table at the Main Branch of the Woodbridge Library on Mondays from 1:00 PM- 3:00 PM. Woodbridge Libraries Are Now Members of
Reciprocal Borrowing Group MURAL
Woodbridge Township library cards are accepted in nearly fifty Middlesex and Union County libraries to borrow materials. Municipal libraries are generally open to public use, but through the  MUtual Reciprocity Among Libraries Agreement (MURAL), a Woodbridge Township Library card will be welcomed for lending and additional services determined by each library.  More details and contact information are available on the WPL home page.
