Your chamber is proud to announce that our Lakeshore Art Festival had a record breaking year!  Many thanks to chamber member sponsors and volunteers who made this event possible!

The event is coordinated by Chamber Staff Member Carla Flanders.  Chamber staff worked hard on the marketing, logistics and so much more!

Many of you know that your chamber is a “behind the scene” sponsor of the Watch Muskegon Campaign along with dozens of other local stakeholder organizations.  The latest project associated with the campaign is a photo contest!  The more great photos we have of Muskegon, the easier it is to promote the area as a great place to live, work and play!

During the month of July take a picture that captures your local experience and share it on Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #ThisIsMuskegon.   A panel of judges will select a winning photo with a grand prize of $1000 cash along with other great items donated by chamber members such as passes to local museums, festivals, restaurants and much more.

Send in a great photo of you, your business, your family, or your employees or customers enjoying all Muskegon has to offer!  A full description of the prize package with all the contest details is available here.

Please help us in welcoming, Kristin Knop, the newest addition to your chamber team. She is the Events Director and will overseeing all chamber and special events as well as member celebrations.

If Kristin looks familiar, you may have seen her at Visit Muskegon - the Muskegon County Convention and Visitors Bureau! She was formerly their Tourism Coordinator for the last 12 years working with the community to sell beautiful Muskegon County to visitors.
