New trial studies targeted therapy for breast cancer
Patients with hormone-receptor-positive, HER2-positive metastatic breast cancer may qualify for a newly opened clinical trial at Providence Cancer Center. The PATINA trial expects to demonstrate that adding the targeted therapy palbociclib to standard therapies will prolong survival over standard therapies alone.
This trial is one of nearly 30 breast cancer studies currently open at Providence Cancer Center.
