A Message from the Superintendent of Schools

November 22, 2017

Dear Burlington Township Families,

Each year we celebrate a special day where we remind ourselves to take time and reflect on what we have. Leading a grateful life can bring happiness of its own where we are free to enjoy the simple things. This year, I want to focus on the power of optimism.

During this Thanksgiving holiday, I am grateful for the ability to choose happiness and optimism. We are fortunate to have a community that is respectful and supportive. This year we embarked on a quest to learn, share and believe in the Power of Optimism. There is no better time to begin to understand this power than on a day we set aside to show our gratitude. Gratitude allows us to be thankful for the past, enjoy the present and be hopeful for the future.

Burlington Township is a big town with a small town feel unlike any other. Our traditions run strong, our caring runs deep and our optimism runs abundant.

I wish everyone in our community a peaceful, safe and happy Thanksgiving.

Warmest regards,

Mary Ann Bell
Superintendent of Schools
