MASS READINGS
Andrea Mantegna, Adoration of the Magi, c. 1495-1505. Courtesy of The Sunday Website of Saint Louis University.
"They were overjoyed at seeing the star,
and on entering the house they saw the child with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him homage. Then they opened their treasures and offered him gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
And having been warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed for their country by another way."

MONTHLY REFLECTION
Lighting The Way To Interfaith Peace
“All of us want peace. Many people build it day by day through small gestures and acts; many of them are suffering, yet patiently persevere in their efforts to be peacemakers” (Regina Coeli)…May we dedicate ourselves prayerfully and actively to banishing violence from our hearts, words and deeds, and to becoming nonviolent people and to building nonviolent communities that care for our common home. [Quoting St. Francis of Assisi,] ‘Nothing is impossible if we turn to God in prayer. Everyone can be an artisan of peace.”
