Young Adults and Graduate Students Weekly Gathering
Young adults (ages 21-35), generally already graduated and graduate students, are invited to attend a gathering on Thursdays at 7:30pm in Roetter Hall. Bring a friend or make a new friend at this weekly gathering of faith sharing and camaraderie.
Fall Retreat Leaders Wanted
Are you enjoying the Newman Catholic Community? Do you want to help other students make new friends and find a home at Newman? Join our Fall Retreat team. We are looking for 12 passionate students who want to help with the Fall Retreat, October 19-20, 2018.

Healing Circle
Our Care Ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday, May 13, after 12:30pm Mass, in the chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
Bible Study
All Students are invited to Bible Study at the Center for Ethics and Spirituality (CES).

Fridays 12:00pm - 1:00pm or
Sundays 5:00pm - 6:00pm with rides to 6:30pm Mass.

Monthly Late Night On-Campus Mass is this Sunday, May 13 at 9:00pm in the RIMAC Green Room. Show up at 8:00pm if you'd like to sing with the choir.
Kid Olympics with Piñata
All Newman families with children are invited to the Kid Olympics with Piñata Family Fun Night on Sunday, May 13, at 5:00pm in Roetter Hall. Please RSVP by Friday, May 11.
Intramural Softball
This quarter, the Newman Center's IM team "The Crazy Catholics" are playing softball on Wednesdays at either 5:30pm or 6:30pm (depending on the week) at RIMAC field. Contact Chris or Gaby to sign-up!
Wednesday Candlelight Mass
Take a break and get re-energized at Candlelight Mass on Wednesday, May 16, at 8:00pm at CES.
Thursday Night Dinner
Want good food for the extremely affordable price of $1? Join us on  Thursday, May 17, at the Center for Ethics and Spirituality (CES). All students are welcome! Doors open at 6:00pm and food is served at 6:30pm. Bring a dollar and your friends (and dollars for your friends, if you're feeling generous).
Newman Live!
The trusted source Wikipedia defines laughter as "a physical reaction in humans... consisting typically of rhythmical, often audible contractions of the diaphragm and other parts of the respiratory system." To experience this phenomenon, come out to Newman Live, the variety show put on by the Student Ministry team for the community, on Saturday, May 19, at 6:30pm.
Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is peanut butter. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.
XLT: Adoration, Praise and Worship
XLT is short for exalt. It combines contemporary worship music with Eucharistic Adoration for an evening filled with prayer, music, reflection and fellowship. Come join us on  Wednesday, May 23, at  8:00pm at the Center For Ethics and Spirituality (CES).
Serve Dinner At St. Vincent De Paul
Jesus calls us to feed the hungry. If you would like an opportunity to carry out this mission by serving lunch at St. Vincent De Paul Village on  Saturday, June 2, from 10:00am to 1:30pm, please sign up or contact Rosy Vacchi. Thank you for volunteering!
Students Become Part of the Jesuit Volunteer Corps
Aspiring to create a more just and hopeful world, the Jesuit Volunteer Corps engages passionate young people in vital service within poor communities, fostering the growth of leaders committed to faith in action. You can commit to a year or two within agencies at the front lines of creating social change. If interested contact Frs. Boom or Manh.
Large Furniture Donation
Catholic Charities' newest program, House of Josephine, is a home for human trafficking victims. They are in need of large furniture donations, specifically dressers. If anyone is interested in donating these or other items, please contact Coralys Munoz.

Fr. John Paul and Fr. Dominic will be visiting on Sunday, June 3, to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of their ordination. There will be a reception at Roetter Hall after 12:30pm Mass and a gathering at Rock Bottom after 6:30pm Mass. To volunteer or donate to this celebration please complete this form online.
