WELCOME MASS AND BBQ
Welcome Mass and BBQ
All are invited to welcome new and returning students, faculty, and staff at our annual Welcome Mass on Sunday, September 30, at 3:00pm at the Stonehenge Lawn in Revelle College (located by 1000 Scholars Dr, La Jolla, CA 92093). After Mass, meet new friends and connect with old at the FREE BBQ. To volunteer for the BBQ, please sign-up online or outside after Mass. Bring sun protection, including parasols or portable canopies if you like.
Welcome Mass BBQ Volunteers Needed
We are recruiting volunteers to help with the Welcome Mass BBQ on Sunday, September 30, following 3:00pm Mass at the Stonehenge Lawn in Revelle College. Please sign-up to volunteer online or outside after Mass this Sunday.

Or perhaps just learning more about the Catholic faith? Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) classes are open to anyone whether Catholic or non-Catholic.

Young Adults and Graduate Students
Young adults (ages 21-35), generally already graduated and graduate students, are invited to a weekly faith sharing and social gathering on Thursdays at 7:30pm at Roetter Hall. Hope to see you there!
Healing Circle
Our care ministry will hold its monthly healing circle on Sunday after 12:30pm Mass, in the Chapel. Everyone is welcome, especially those who would like to join together in praying for healing in any aspect of their lives or those of their loved ones.
Help Stock the Food Pantry
This month's item for the food pantry at the Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) is canned soup. You can place items in the CCSA basket at the entrance of the church on Sundays.
THIS WEEK
A Faith That Does Justice
Justice invites you to transform your faith into action on Tuesday, September 11, at 6:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church Hall. Jose Rodriguez, staff member of the San Diego Organizing Project, will share his inspirational journey of how his commitment to social justice led him to deepen his faith and how his faith strengthens him to be "a man for others" in our community.

Health and Wellness Ministry
There will be a flu shot service after the Good Samaritan service at 9:30am on Sunday, September 23, from 10:30am- 12:30pm in the patio. For those without Medicare, the cost is $20.

The 2nd Annual Women's Ministry Benefit Concert
On Saturday, November 3, at 7:00pm at the Newman Center the Women's Ministry will hold their 2nd Annual Benefit Concert with the San Diego Mandolin Orchestra. Proceeds go to help fund a retreat, student scholarships, and more.
