FireNEX-uLINK™ is fully compatible with Kinect

Microsoft Kinect was initially introduced to expand Xbox 360's user base. Overtime many developers started to use Kinect to create interactive applications that respond to gesture, voice, and movement, especially after the release of Kinect v2 for Windows. However, one common problem that many Xbox One users and Kinect v2 developers encounter is how to extend the distance for Kinect v2 sensor to the device, and Newnex offers many solutions to solve this problem.

Newnex passive   USB 3.0 A to B passive cable  is fully compatible with Kinect v2 and is capable of extending USB 3.0 signal up to 5 meters. For distances longer than 5 meters, Newnex Award-Winning USB 3.0 active repeater cables,  FireNEX-uLINK™, have been proven to work and is capable of extending USB 3.0 signal up to 16 meters and 24 meters with daisy chain connection through a  USB 3.0 repeater Dongle. FireNEX-5000H™

Currently, many USB 3.0 Vision cameras, access control devices or remote storages often consume significant amount of power. If a local power supply is added for meeting the power requirement, it will greatly increase cost. In addition, most often such a local power supply is simply not available. Fortunately, this will no longer be problematic now with Newnex's next generation of USB 3.0 optical repeater, FireNEX-5000H™ that is capable of transmitting both data and power to distances previously unreachable.

FireNEX-5000H™ is capable of extending USB signal with power delivery up to 100 meters. FireNEX-5000H™ also supports USB 3.0 signal throughputs of up to 5 Gbps and features 100% Plug and Play in a compact anodized aluminum case. In case no power delivery is necessary, the FireNEX-5000H™ can extend USB 3.0 signal up to 300 meters.

FireNEX-5000H™ consists of a local unit and a remote unit. The local unit features a USB 3.0 Type B receptacle which is equipped with a USB3 Vision compliant locking port, a 24V DC port, and a Duplex LC connector. The remote unit features two USB 3.0 Type A stacked receptacles with USB3 Vision compliant locking ports, a 12V - 24 V DC port, and a Duplex LC connector. A fiber cable with power delivery option is needed for power delivery up to 15W. For more information, please visit Newnex's website.

Newnex USB 3.1 Full Feature Type C Cables Support Data Transfer Rate over 850MB/s

As the USB industry moves toward USB 3.1 Type-C, Newnex is excited to introduce our USB 3.1 full feature Type-C cable. The USB 3.1 specification defines a data transfer rate of up to 10 Gbps on a bi-directional link, doubling the bandwidth of current USB 3.0 standard that operates at 5Gbps. The USB 3.1 Type-C specification calls for a slim, reversible and bi-directional cable and connector capable of transferring data at 10 Gbps and delivering a maximum 100W power at the same time.

Newnex USB 3.1 Type-C cable bench test demo had one Newnex USB 3.1 full feature Type-C cable connected from a host PC with Asus USB 3.1 Type-C PCIe controller board to an ASMedia ASM1352R USB 3.1 to SATA 6G controller with a pair of Samsung SSDs running together in RAID0 mode configuration. The test result shows the Newnex cable can easily support data transfer rate over 850MB/s on the CrystalDiskMark sequential read/write benchmark test.
