As we enter into the Advent Season, I pray for each of you! My prayers for you are ones you won’t find in packages or under the tree. They won’t be in homemade candy or gingerbread cookies. You won’t find my prayers in outside decorations or elaborate Christmas trees.

My prayers will be found in the relationships you have with the people around you—love packaged up in a warm hug or a hand written note, kindness sealed with a sincere smile, a handshake, or the fresh taste of belly laughter. My prayers include the blossoming awareness that the love in your heart shines bright enough to touch another’s darkness and illuminate new possibilities.

May you each have a Blessed Advent Season!

Yours in Christ,
  Pastor Julie
