Winter 2016
It looks like Winter is trying to arrive and we are excited to share news about our chapter!

We could not continue to impact our youth without the support of our parents, volunteers, coaches, donors, and board members- thank you all for your efforts in making our students the leaders of tomorrow.

Nature Valley First Tee Open

The First Tee of Greater Baltimore had two students represent the chapter in the 2016 Nature Valley First Tee Open. Jairus Gaines, a junior at Gilman, and Kendel Abrams, a junior at Susquehannock in Glen Rock, Pa., competed in the official PGA Champions Tour event at Pebble Beach Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course September 13-18, 2016.
The First Tee STEM Links Field Trip
The First Tee of Greater Baltimore was excited to host students from Leith Walk Elementary School for a Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) field trip at the Woodlands Golf Course. Leith Walk Elementary School participates in The First Tee National School Program, which engages students in a structured golf curriculum that promotes personal character development and health concepts.
Giving Tuesday

Our organization could not continue without the support of our volunteers and donors. Your support makes a tremendous difference in the lives of young people in The First Tee of Greater Baltimore Community. The Baltimore Caddie Academy

The Baltimore Caddie Academy was established in 2016 through a partnership between The First Tee of Greater Baltimore, Baltimore Country Club, and the Western Golf Association. The vision of the academy is to help young people gain a better understanding of the game of golf, learn valuable life lessons, and help develop youth into leaders on and off the golf course.
Young Professionals Board
The Young Professionals Board is a network of active Baltimore Young Professionals dedicated to the mission of The First Tee of Greater Baltimore. This summer the group hosted a golf tournament to raise funds and awareness for the chapter. Stay tuned for their next event by visiting Young Professionals Board website.

The First Tee of Greater Baltimore doesn’t shut down when the weather gets cold! Learn more about our winter programming that helps students stay active, fit and a part of The First Tee of Greater Baltimore program all year round.


PARTICIPANT OPPORTUNITIES
The First Tee junior golf program doesn’t just get kids on the course, it offers them exciting opportunities for growth. With the help of corporate partners, The First Tee hosts a series of events allowing participants the opportunity to meet new people, play some golf, achieve greatness, and show off the nine core values.
