Join thousands of residents and visitors in the heart of Westchester's greatest city. The festival will have German beers and food, with live music provided by Alpine Squeeze, along with DJ NJam. There will be games and a Stein Holding Competition. Located on Mamaroneck Avenue between East Post Road and Maple Avenue.

$5 Wristbands and proof of age is required for the outdoor purchase of beer. All bags will be subject to inspection. Glass not permitted in the event area.

October 4: International prize-winning pianist and native Texan, Thomas Steigerwald made his orchestral debut at age 18 with the San Antonio Symphony. A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, he is currently pursuing his Masters at The Juilliard School. Mr. Steigerwald is a prize winner in the 62nd Wideman, and the 16th San Jose International Piano Competitions. Thomas was a First Prize One-Piano, Four Hands Ensemble Winner at the 2014 New York International Piano Competition. A Downtown Music debut.

It's important for students and parents to understand all the options before they begin this journey. The process should be methodical, thoughtful, and most importantly, not too overwhelming. In this lecture, learn the best way to approach college fairs, tours, interviews, and choosing a major. This workshop is free to attend, register on the Library's calendar website.

The LIbrary's exciting "1st Wednesday" series continues with Open Mic, SLAM competition and guest poets from around the country. To take part in the open mic or slam, please register at 6:30 pm. Slammers should bring one original poem of up to 3 minutes. Registration closes promptly at 7, and the program starts shortly thereafter. Co-hosted by local poet and slam-master Eric ZORK Alan.
