Arts Wisconsin announced today that they will be conducting statewide conference calls during the 2011-2013 state budget season on funding for the arts, arts education and creative economy, the progress of arts advocacy, and how you can take action.
The first call will happen this Monday, March 21, 5:30 pm and will be repeated with the same content on Tuesday, March 22, 10 am. Email Arts Wisconsin at email@example.com with your name and contact info to receive the phone number, passcode to join the call and an agenda.
We are headed to County Executive Candidates Chris Abele and Jeff Stone's offices today and tomorrow to get on their perspective and commitment to growing our creative industries. More on the interviews below.

Creative Hub Live: Grand Opening

Catch the upcoming Arts Digest special, Harnessing our Creativity which focuses on Creativity Works!, the recent study to inventory Milwaukee's creative resources and how they can be leveraged to integrate creative thinking into old industries and develop new business and industries in our region. The results of the study are surprising. Interviewed are Christine Harris, president of Cultural Alliance of Greater Milwaukee, and 13 others who cross a variety of creative and business sectors.
