Creative Alliance Milwaukee Update

June 16, 2011

There's beginning to be a lot of buzz around a design cluster in the Milwaukee region (read the Journal Sentinel story this week if you haven't). The Creative Alliance revealed in its Creativity Works! Project that design represents 46% of the region's creative industries workforce. It is a natural area for further cluster development - based on the presence and the history of our design heritage. Fostering growth of creative industries, including the design tech cluster, in a 'creative eco-system' at the Plankinton Building of the Shops at Grand Avenue, was revealed in the Alliance's Creativity Works Here event last week. The Alliance is proud to help spearhead this development and we look forward to sharing more information with you in the coming weeks!

From a design standpoint, what would stand out in our saturated holiday marketplace and encourage people to buy tickets? They've tried it all, and been quite successful over the past decade, but are looking to continue to stay one step ahead of our holiday competitors. They want to hear your creative ideas!
