Creative Alliance Milwaukee Update

August 4, 2011

Ice CreamVisitors and tenants alike stopped by Grand Avenue's Chocolate Factory last night to eat ice cream and learn more about available spaces in the mall, part of the new Creativity Works Here program. The social flowed into Spreenkler's monthly Meetup, a regular gathering spot for creatives in design technology.

Next Tuesday at 4:30pm, the Creaitve Alliance is holding a Membership Orientation, open to both members and non-members. If you're interested in learning more about our membership program, stop by for cookies, soda and to have all your questions answered!

Member Spotlight: Flux Design

Flux Design

Flux Design was founded by two former Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design students, Jeremy Shamrowicz and Jesse Meyer. They started by recycling salvaged lumber and scrap metal to design "organic" furniture. This design/build firm specializes in inventive, cutting edge commercial needs that range from restaurants, bars, and nightclubs to truly unique residential needs that include bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and dining/living rooms. This cadre of artists and designers use a wide variety of materials such as quality steel, concrete, plastic, wood, and glass to customize each project.
