Mobile Business: Mobile Considerations for Nonprofit Arts & Culture
Saturday, December 3, 2011
11:05 A.M. - 12:00 P.M.
OPEN MiKE - 161 W Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee (Inside Grand Avenue Mall, across from The Chocolate Factory and above TJ Maxx)

Calling nonprofit arts organizations! We have a fabulous opportunity for you to find out how mobile applications are changing the world of business, and how they can have a positive impact on the bottom line of your organization. How can mobile applications find new customers, help you develop new products, or save operating costs? Matt Friedel (CEO of Jam-Mobile.com) and Christine Harris will be co-hosting the session with the focus on helping you understand and benefit from the world of mobile applications.

Join us for a lively and informative discussion. If you have developed a mobile app, please come prepared to show us and if you are thinking of one, here is an opportunity to explore your ideas. And, if you haven't been seriously considering mobile applications, time to get on the bandwagon.

African-American Children's Theatre Match Grant Opportunity
Recent budget cuts at the state, county, and local level have left AACT with a budget shortfall that must be met in order to keep their doors open through June of 2012. To counter that, they are reaching out to the community with their first fall funding drive, and we encourage you to show them how much you value performing arts that positively portray our young people. Please donate whatever amount you can by visiting their
website and clicking on the "Donate" button, or send a check 325 West Walnut Street Milwaukee, WI 53212 today. While they appreciate and need your support, they also understand that times may be tight. Any amount you can give will help them reach their goal of raising $5,000 in the next 30 days. Plus, your donation will go even farther to help, thanks to an anonymous donor who is generously supporting AACT by matching all received donations, dollar for dollar. Please, make your donation today!
