Dear ,

Exciting news today: Hanson Dodge Creative and Comet Branding + PR announced that the two organizations will merge effective January 1, 2011. We are very excited for these two Milwaukee-based firms to join forces to expand their ability to provide services to a growing list of global clients. Read the press release.

Spreenkler Talent Labs announced a challenge for college students and recent graduates. If you have a good idea, they'll help fund it (up to $18,000!) plus, they'll set your team up with workspace, resources and mentors. Learn more below.

Finally, if you're looking to build your network, register for Creativity Works! Moving Forward on January 19--and bring all your creative friends! Over 100 people have already registered since the invite went out last week.  Make sure you get on the list!

We will be taking a break from the newsletter next week for the holiday. We have been blessed with a wonderful year working with YOU to promote all of our terrific creative assets. As we count these blessings, all of us wish you and yours a peaceful, relaxing, rejuvenating holiday season.

The Wisconsin Dance Council honored Susanne Carter of Carter Productions with a Career Recognition Award. This award is given to a person whose diverse dance contributions such as organization, leadership, choreographer, performer, educator, and innovator have changed the future of dance in Wisconsin.

Deb Solis, a Milwaukee dance professional, wrote the following: "Susan Carter has lived in Milwaukee for the last thirty-four years and dance has been her love, passion, and career. She has collaborated, presented and used every means possible to bring the joy of moving to all people within the community."
Spreenkler Talent Labs Seed Incubator
Submit your idea. Get funded. Build it.

Spreenkler Talent Labs is looking for big ideas from college students across Southeast Wisconsin. If you've got passion and a cool idea they think has huge potential, they'll hook you up with the cash, equipment and people to make it happen. Fast.

They want business ideas that focus on web, social or mobile design and technology. That includes applications like Facebook, Groupon, Evernote and Box.Net. and gadgets like the iPad, Android and Playbook. Or it might be a game changer that brings something brand new to the scene. Whatever it is, they want to hear about it!

For each idea selected, up to 3 founders (you and your team) will get up to $18,000 to cover time and expenses while you and your fellow founders work on the idea.  They'll also supply you with office space, laptops, and administrative assistance, mentoring from entrepreneurs, designers and software engineers.
