1a. RECOGNITION - Hispanic Heritage Month
In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, the Board recognized the relevant and important contributions of our Hispanic and Latino American students, families, and community members. In celebration of their heritage and culture, members of the  ¡ Sí Se Puede!  Club from Grant Union High School presented a spoken word performance.

1b. RECOGNITION - Twin Rivers Unified School District Adult Education Program
Recognition highlighting the significant work taking place in the Twin Rivers Unified School District Adult Education Program.

1c. PUBLIC HEARING and APPROVE the Public Disclosure Certification, the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Tentative Agreement dated August 2, 2017 between Twin Rivers Unified School District and the Twin Rivers School Police Association and the revised 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 Salary Schedules.

2. PRESENT - Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) Results
Staff provided a presentation on the most recent Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) results with comparisons to the prior year and identified next steps.

3. PRESENT - Facilities Improvements Summer 2017 Update 
Facilities presented to the Board of Trustees the 2017-18 Facilities Improvement Plan.

4. PRESENT and APPROVE Twin Rivers Unified School District 2016-2017 Unaudited Actuals. 
Twin Rivers Unified School District's 2016-2017 Unaudited Actuals using the state's required format. The District is required to provide this information through the Sacramento County Office of Education to the California Department of Education in the state's format prior to October 15, 2017.

5. PRESENT - College and Career Readiness Three-Year Plan Update
Staff updated the Board on the progress of the College and Career Readiness three-year plan.

The Board approved all personnel recommendations including new hires, promotions, resignations and leaves.
